Quantitative Analysis

Service:  Perform quantitative analysis of data pertaining to conservation research
and consulting.

The Technique:  Quantitative analysis, as applied for conservation research and
consulting, enables rigorous interpretation of data concerning natural ecosystem
structure and processes.  This includes quantitative summaries concerning data
(descriptive statistics), hypothesis testing about patterns and processes based on
samples and probability distributions (inferential statistics), and
interpolation/extrapolation of spatial and temporal patterns based on limited
samples (geostatistics).

Our Contribution:  We routinely perform quantitative analysis for our conservation
research and projects.  In addition to standard univariate and multivariate
statistical analysis, we perform custom analyses to examine nonrandom
distributions and complex spatiotemporal data sets, and use quantitative models
to simulate natural processes.
